Metta started her creative journey in 2010 where she found her voice in visual arts.
Graduated as a graphic designer and works in architecture realm, art and design becomes her most sensible tool to communicate. Growing up, she works and explores with numbers of medium: photography, graphic design, documentary filmmaking printmaking and ceramics.
Metta's work are distinctly influenced by social anthropology, humanity, culture and most importantly her family heritage and upbringings in Glodok - Metta's neighbourhood.
She began to understand colour through black and white imagery. Her work has been very much evolved in monochromatic spectrum, especially on things that captured her soul. Through the detachment of colour, it has always been the way she deepened her senses and understanding of life.
Today Metta is balancing her time as an artist, photographer and project director - while running her own studio in Glodok, Jakarta.
